Sangomas to get Covid-19 vaccine together with other frontline health workers

Traditional healers will be prioritized together with Dokters and nurses to receive the Johnson and Johnson vaccine before the rollout of the vaccine will start for the rest of the population.

The minister of Health, Dr. Zweli Mkhize has confirmed that his department sees Sangomas as equals to the qualified doctors in the professional sphere. This after hundreds of sangomas countrywide started striking and threatening to cast spells over the ANC government's rule of South Africa. The ANC top six in an emergency meeting discussed alternatives, some of them believe the recently appointed Minister of Black Magic can fend off any casts and spells. In the end, however, the choice was taken not to risk any lives and the Minister of Health was informed to cave to the demands of the traditional healers.
